WGT GLOBAL – Official Streamer Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: April 2025
Introduction: These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern the requirements and expectations for individuals applying to become an official live streamer with WGT GLOBAL (the "Agency"). By submitting an application or participating as an official streamer for WGT GLOBAL, you (the "Streamer" or "Applicant") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read this document carefully before applying. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not apply or participate as a streamer with WGT GLOBAL.
1. Eligibility to Apply as a Streamer
To ensure a safe and compliant streaming community, all applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to apply. Minors are not permitted to become official streamers.
Legal Capacity: You must have the legal right to enter into this agreement. This means you are not barred by any laws or prior agreements from participating as an independent streamer.
Platform Account: You must have, or be willing to create, a valid account on the required third-party streaming platform (e.g., Bigo Live) and remain in good standing on that platform (no existing bans or violations).
Equipment and Access: You must have the necessary equipment (such as a smartphone or computer with a camera and microphone) and reliable internet access to live stream at a quality acceptable to the platform’s standards.
Accurate Information: All information you provide in your application must be truthful, accurate, and complete. Providing false or misleading information can lead to immediate rejection of your application or termination of your streamer status.
WGT GLOBAL reserves the right to reject any application that does not meet the above criteria or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that an applicant is not suitable for our program.
2. Application and Onboarding Process
When you apply to become an official streamer with WGT GLOBAL, the following process and conditions will typically apply:
1. Submission of Application: Complete all required application forms or online submissions provided by WGT GLOBAL. This may include personal details, contact information, relevant experience, and your streaming profile or ID on the third-party platform. By applying, you agree to these Terms and any platform-specific terms required by our partner platforms.
2. Review and Verification: After submission, WGT GLOBAL will review your application. We may verify your identity and details (you might be asked for identification documents or to perform a brief interview or audition stream). During this stage, we assess whether you meet our eligibility criteria and community standards.
3. Acceptance or Rejection: WGT GLOBAL will notify you of the outcome. If your application is not successful, WGT GLOBAL is not required to provide detailed feedback. If accepted, you will receive an official welcome communication with further instructions.
4. Onboarding and Training: Accepted streamers will undergo an onboarding process. This may include:
Setting up or linking your streaming account under the WGT GLOBAL agency, if applicable.
Guidance on using the streaming platform (such as Bigo Live) and an overview of important platform rules and features.
Training or resource materials on best practices, community guidelines, and how to maximize your success as a streamer (e.g., tips on content, scheduling, and fan engagement).
5. Agreement to Platform Terms: During onboarding, you must also agree to any additional terms required by the streaming platform or by WGT GLOBAL’s program (e.g., signing a host agreement if the platform requires one through the agency). You are separately responsible for adhering to Bigo Live’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines (or those of whichever platform you stream on).
6. Profile and Branding: WGT GLOBAL may assist you in setting up your profile as an official streamer. You may be identified as a member of the “WGT GLOBAL Family/Agency” on the platform. Any use of WGT GLOBAL branding or mention of our agency in your profile must follow our branding guidelines.
Note: The application and onboarding process may be updated or modified by WGT GLOBAL at any time.
3. Independent Partner Relationship (No Employment)
By becoming an official streamer with WGT GLOBAL, you understand and agree that your relationship with the Agency is solely as an independent contractor/partner, not as an employee, agent, or representative of WGT GLOBAL. This means:
You are not entitled to employee benefits such as health insurance, minimum wage, or unemployment benefits.
You have creative flexibility and control over how you produce your content.
You are not authorized to act as a legal representative of WGT GLOBAL.
You are responsible for your own expenses.
You are responsible for reporting and paying your taxes.
By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you will not claim or seek employee benefits from WGT GLOBAL.
4. Earnings and Compensation Structure
WGT GLOBAL provides opportunities for streamers to earn income through third-party platforms, but:
Income is not guaranteed. It depends on your effort, content quality, and platform performance.
Payouts may go through WGT GLOBAL if the platform requires it, and you must provide accurate payment details.
WGT GLOBAL is not liable for delays caused by incorrect information or third-party processors.
You are responsible for any tax obligations related to your earnings.
5. Use of Third-Party Platforms
As a WGT GLOBAL streamer, you must follow all terms and conditions of the platform (e.g., Bigo Live). Violating these rules may result in:
Suspension or banning by the platform.
Termination from WGT GLOBAL’s program.
Forfeiture of earnings or removal from events/bonuses.
Stay updated with any changes in platform rules. If in doubt, consult WGT GLOBAL before taking actions that might cause a conflict.
6. Code of Conduct
You are expected to:
Be respectful and professional at all times.
Avoid prohibited content (e.g., violence, nudity, illegal activity).
Never engage in harassment, hate speech, fraud, or copyright infringement.
Protect your privacy and that of others.
Violating these standards may lead to immediate termination and reporting to the platform or authorities.
7. Termination and Contract Term
Each Streamer is bound by a fixed-term contract with WGT GLOBAL ranging from one (1) to three (3) years in duration, as specified in the individual agreement (the “Term”).
You may not voluntarily leave or change agencies during the Term.
You may submit a written request for early release, which WGT GLOBAL will process in accordance with platform policies (e.g., Bigo Live's official release procedures).
Any unauthorized exit outside platform policy may result in loss of earnings, penalties, and being blacklisted.
WGT GLOBAL reserves the right to terminate a streamer at any time due to rule violations or business needs.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all original content you create.
WGT GLOBAL may use your content and likeness for promotional purposes with your consent.
You may not misuse WGT GLOBAL branding or infringe on others’ intellectual property.
9. Privacy and Data
WGT GLOBAL only collects the personal data needed to manage the streamer program.
Your data is kept secure and only accessed by authorized staff.
WGT GLOBAL does not sell your data or store unnecessary information.
All platform data use is governed by the platform’s privacy policies.
10. Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be updated by WGT GLOBAL at any time.
Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Significant changes will be communicated to streamers directly.
